A little bit about me

I was born in 1967 near Cleveland, Ohio, to a midwest working class family. Back then, my father was a woodworker by trade, while my mother was a bookbinder. Over their years, like many people, both would work different types of jobs. My father owned a restaurant and later a fire & burglary alarm business. My mother drove a passenger van for the elderly, she worked in retail and also in restaurants. Even when I was a toddler, they would give me the opportunity to help them at work. So right from the start I was instilled with blue collar values.

These values have served me well my entire life. As a teen, I became a house painter to help provide for my mother and my sisters. When I entered the tech field, I continued to honor my blue collar roots with diligent attention to quality hard work. For a decade I was an over the road trucker covering the entire lower 48. I've done many other things in my life and I will always be glad that they gave me an appreciation for hard work.

One thing my father always taught me was to have two professions, one with my hands and another with my mind. For me those two professions are Painting and Programming. When I first visited the Tri-City a few months ago, I noticed many people here likewise have a couple of professions. Some working on farms and simultaneously in retail for instance. The more I got to know the people here, the more I liked the area until finally I decided to move here.

Staying true to my family's working class traditions and my father's wise advice, I am offering two services to Rutherford & Polk counties. The service I'm offering with my hands is house painting.
